This green goddess sauce gets it’s name because it is fantastic on everything. You can’t go wrong with adding this sauce to any protein, soups, even grain-free breads or thinning into a dressing on everything!!
Not only is it absolutely to die for, but it is a powerhouse of pungent and medicinal herbs that help the body detox and eliminate. The combination of garlic, parsley and cilantro enhances all of these together to help aid the body in it’s natural process of detoxing the body, cleansing the blood and restoring the digestive systems into balance. I am talking food that nourishes on deep and resonate levels. It just so happens that it makes the palette and brain just as happy as the liver and gallbladder!
I recommend freezing portions in ice cube trays to keep on hand if you make a lot of it, then you have it whenever you might want to use it and the herbs stay super fresh! It will keep up to two weeks in the fridge, but I honestly doubt it will last that long – you’ll be using for probably every meal!
What do I use it on? Salmon, sole, chicken, meatballs, tacos, soups, broth, eggs, and avocado toast. The options are truly endless, so get creative with the way you sauce!
This is the perfect way to amp up any boring or bland meal, and especially good for anyone doing a Whole30 because it adds that extra punch of flavor you may be missing!
GREEN GODDESS SAUCE
1 cup cilantro (I even use stems)
1 cup Italian parsley
3 cloves garlic
1 cup high quality olive oil 1 teaspoon sea or pink salt
1.) Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until creamy and smooth. It may take few times of pushing the ingredients down to get the final consistency. Use on anything your heart desires!
